Blenheim palace: vast expanses of the residence

Three
Blenheim palace: boundless latitudes

Blenheim Palace is the ancestral home of the Dukes of Marlborough. It is one of the largest palace and park complexes in England. Blenheim is a rather atypical building for England, because it is made in the Baroque style. The uniqueness of Blenheim Palace is also given by historical events and great personalities associated with it. For example, Winston Churchill, considered by the English as one of the greatest Britons, was born here.

The interior decoration competes with its external beauty and monumentality. The lobby hall is decorated with a ceiling painting with scenes of a military battle of generals. The family (the 11th Duke of Marlborough and his family members) occupy only the east wing of the estate. The rest of the castle space is available for free visiting. Feature films are shot here, rooms for wedding ceremonies and corporate celebrations are rented out.
