Alexander Nevsky Lavra and the ancient cemetery "Necropolis of Masters of Art".
Alexander Nevsky Lavra, which is located at the end of Nevsky Prospekt, is one of the two laurels existing in Russia. The male monastery was founded on the order of Peter I near the place of the victorious battle against the Swedes of Novgorod Prince Alexander Nevsky, on the Neva River bank.

On the Lavra grounds there is one of the oldest churches in St. Petersburg, where are buried people whose names have remained in history, such as the commander Alexander V. Suvorov.
The historic cemetery, which is a museum, has a collection of open-air sculptures, as well as graves and monuments of famous artists, writers and musicians.
