Program of the tour:

Day 1: Private tour to the Van Gogh Museum and guided walk around Amsterdam - top locations

We will begin our acquaintance with a first lunch together in the city and discuss the program.

After a light coffee break we will take a walk around Amsterdam where our guide will show us the amazing locations that are hidden from the eyes of the average tourist. The guide will tell us about how the very special spirit of Amsterdam was formed, the spirit of freedom and independence.

Afterwards we will head to the Van Gogh Museum, which houses the largest private collection of his paintings in the world. Our group will have an individual guided tour with an art historian, after which you will become true experts on Van Gogh's paintings. This tour gives you the opportunity to be immersed in the hypnotic magic of the artist's work, after such an experience it will be impossible to look at the world with your usual eyes.

Day 2: Individual tour of the Rijksmuseum and a boat trip around Amsterdam

We'll leave for lunch to refresh and share our impressions

Today we'll have a private tour of the Rijksmuseum. It is one of the most visited museums in the world, housing the finest collection of 'Golden Age' Dutch paintings in the world. It is where you can see Rembrandt's famous 'Night Watch' in full detail in person.

In the evening, we'll take a cruise along the canals of Amsterdam. This is an opportunity to see a different perspective of the city, to imagine yourself as a character in a painting by one of the Dutch painters and to enjoy the views as if from a postcard.

Day 3: Journey to Zaanse-Schans and Volendam - an escape for vibrant colors and a spirit of freedom

In the morning, we'll head to the fairytale town of Zaanse Schans, home to famous Dutch mills, the freshest farm produce and toy-like little houses. People come to see how the descendants of the millers turned the grain into flour and to watch the mighty machinery at work. We will also find out how dyes for painters were made here.

After lunch we will visit Volendam, a famous town of craftsmen where we will learn more about the history of the Netherlands and we will hand-paint the famous Dutch shoes. We stay for dinner in the fishing village.

We will have a delicious lunch at the country's oldest mill. A real journey back in time!

Day 4: The life and work of a genius - a private tour of Rembrandt

We will embark on an individual tour with an expert on Rembrandt. We will visit the museum-apartment of one of the most controversial artists of his era. The mysterious world of the great master, who knew how to create real light in his paintings, awaits us. You'll take a tour of the rooms and even a peek into the studio! We will then take a walk around the quarter where the artist lived, where his buyers, dealers, customers and workshop were. Together we will try to unravel his mysteries: was the ingenious Dutchman a prophet, or did he sell his soul to the devil himself?!
