HIDDEN TREASURES AND MASTERPIECES OF SAINT PETERSBURG: BESPOKE TOUR

ART&TRAVEL PROJECT
ART&TRAVEL PROJECT
ART&TRAVEL PROJECT
ART&TRAVEL PROJECT
St. Petersburg has been described for a long time, and what is not described, you need to see for yourself…

THE WORLD IS YOUR CANVAS

The charm of a warm St. Petersburg night, wide highways and narrow streets, stone embankments and breathtaking expanses of the Neva River are definitely worth dedicating your weekend to them. And we, in turn, guarantee you an unforgettable trip!

Art Weekend in St. Petersburg is our new program, in which we want to show you masterpieces and hidden treasures of the city's art and architecture, while avoiding standard locations and long-known facts. Learning more about art and visiting places closed to ordinary tourists is a way to get away from hackneyed patterns, boundaries in your head and see more with Firuzzi, because learning about art is the best assistant to acquiring the skills you need in real life.

The duration is 3 nights and 4 days.
Tour program
Day 1: Hidden masterpieces of the Hermitage

Everyone has been to the Hermitage, but few have been to the Hermitage Restoration and Storage Centre, one of the most technically advanced complex in the world. It will be almost like a set of the James Bond film, where our guide will use passwords and fingerprints to unlock the secret storage rooms.

Next, we will visit the workshop where sculptural masterpieces are born. We will talk with the sculptor about how the works are created. You will try yourself as a sculptor-restorer, learn how to work with plaster mortar and awaken your talents.
In the evening we'll have dinner with a glass of sparkling wine in one of St Petersburg's most beautiful restaurants, and discuss the day's experiences.

Russian avant-garde art collection and masterpieces by Vrubel. We will go to the Russian Museum, where a temporary exhibition of Mikhail Vrubel's works is on the display. The world of his fantasies, created images, colours that fill the canvases still excites consciousness. All his life he had been looking for the image of a Demon, creating truly otherworldly works.

After this mini art retreat we will go for lunch on the canal.
We will conclude our day at the gallery, for an art evening, talking about the Morozovs' art collection. We will understand the reasons and difficulties of bringing the collection back to Russia. And also learn the risks and peculiarities of exchanging art collections between countries.
