Program of the tour:
Day 1: A royal walk back in time
Location - Edinburgh
After getting acquainted, we go for a walk around the city of Sir Walter Scott and J.K. Rowling. We are waiting for a tour of the Royal Mile, the street connecting the two main attractions of the city – Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Palace of Elizabeth II. To the sounds of bagpipes, which are often heard here, you will be transported back 400 years and get acquainted with the history of the city, as well as learn the legend of Mary King's close.
Once outside the castle walls, you will forget about the real world and plunge into the world of secrets and riddles. You'll see royal relics and the Stone of Destiny on which all the monarchs of Scotland and later the whole UK were crowned in 847.
In the evening we will have dinner in an atmospheric restaurant. After all, Scotland is famous not only for its impressive landscapes, but also for its devotion to traditional cuisine.
You'll have a real English tea party in one of the most beautiful places in Scotland. It couldn't be more fabulous!
Together we will conquer the Throne of Arthur – we will climb a hill with a panoramic view of the whole city. This will be our first small tracking. We will find out why the hill is so called. The difficulty level is low.
Day 2: In Search of the Holy Grail and Visit Sir Walter Scott
Location: Walter Scott Castle (Melrose) -> Edinburgh
Click to open day description
The day will begin with a visit to the Rosslyn Chapel, where, according to one of the legends, the Holy Grail Cup is hidden! We'll admire the picturesque stained glass windows and 15th century carvings. The chapel became world famous after the release of the book and the movie "The Da Vinci Code''. The beautiful Roslin Chapel is really full of mysteries and riddles, filled with mystical artifacts. You can look at its interior endlessly, there are so many complex decorative elements and symbols there.
Later we head to the Gothic Abbotsford Castle – the estate of Sir Walter Scott, built according to his own design.
Sir Walter Scott is known not only as a brilliant author of historical novels, but also as a collector of things with history. There are an unprecedented number of unique artifacts in his house that you will see with your own eyes: Marie Antoinette's mantel clock, a silver urn from John Byron, a crucifix that belonged to Mary Stuart and many other amazing things! You will find yourself in the writer's library, where all the books are arranged as they were once put by the owner of the house
We will have lunch in a cozy pub, and then visit the kilt factory. You will learn interesting stories about different fabrics and figure out how the "right" Scottish kilt should look like.
Day 3: Gardens, Palaces & Castles
Location: Edinburgh - Pitlochry

I promise you'll have a huge amount of mind-blowing photos on this day, because we're going to Jupiter Artland!
The wow effect: impressive contemporary art objects, landscaping, and mesmerizing sculptures. This kind of experience energizes and provides the inspiration we all need.
Next is Hopetoun House, a 300-year-old palace that retains its 18th-century atmosphere. Try on the life of a noble lady from the past. In the first season of Outlander, this palace was the home of the Duke of Sandringham. The rooms of Jamie and Claire's Paris apartment and the Hawkins estate from season two were also filmed here.
We'll take a photo in front of the gloomy Blackness Castle, the grandeur and mystery of which amazes even the sophisticated traveler. Not for nothing is this fortress the location of Black Jack Randall's Fort William headquarters. Jamie's heartbreaking incarceration scene was also filmed here.
Walk through the city of Cork, a market town with charming colorful houses, authentic medieval pubs, an old jail and even a pillar of shame to which criminals - usually women accused of witchcraft - were chained. Here and there are locations from the film. For example, the house of Gaylees Duncan and the palace garden where Claire used to gather herbs.
The panorama at Forth bridge is a marvel of Scottish engineering and one of the first cantilever bridges in the world.
Day 4: Portal to the Past
Location: Pitlochry

In the morning, we leave for a promenade in Drummond Castle Garden, the court garden of the Renaissance. It's particularly magical in May as the avenues are lined with flowers and you can soak up the gorgeous scents. Just think, you'll see the beech trees planted by Queen Victoria in honor of her visit in 1842! This is where the shooting of the Palace of Versailles took place.
After lunch, we'll head to Glen Lyon Hollow. It has been officially declared one of Scotland's 40 most outstanding landscapes. And Sir Walter Scott once described it as "the longest, loneliest, and most beautiful Hollow in Scotland.
We'll take a leisurely stroll through the emerald hills and, at the end of the trail, come to a unique cliff. We'll try to follow outlander back in time, burying ourselves in the stones of Mary's Praying Hands.
In the evening we will rest in the hotel. We can sit in one of the local pubs and feel the spirit of rugged men and the aroma of real Scotch whiskey.
Day 5: The Treasure of Pearl Castle
Location: Pitlochry - Inverness
Click to open day description
To feel like princesses, we drive in the morning to Blair Castle, which looks like it came off the pages of a Disney fairy tale. Reindeer will be strolling through the park, and we'll admire the gorgeous interiors, antique pieces of art, and even enter a room filled with jewels!
Around lunchtime, we'll drive to the authentic Tomatin Distillery! This is one of the largest whiskey distilleries that is made using the original recipe and following centuries of tradition. Here you will learn about the manufacturing process, see the casks in which it is aged (many of them older than you), and, of course, taste the varieties that the whole of Scotland is proud of.
Cheerful and satisfied we arrive in Inverness. Inverness is one of the oldest major cities in the country and the capital of the Highlands. It was the setting for the filming of the romantic Scottish TV series, Outlander. We will take a guided walk through the city center, see Inverness Castle, waterfronts as if frozen in the Middle Ages, sharp spires of cathedrals and graceful bridges.
Day 6: In search of the Loch Ness Monster
Location: Inverness to Port William
Click to open day description
After breakfast, we head out for a ride on Loch Ness Lake, bobbing on the waves and looking out for the mysterious creature in the dark waters. We'll walk through the ruins of the ancient castle Urquhart. Once this place was a Celtic settlement of the 13th century. Against the background of the castle walls you get very atmospheric photos! This castle has an amazing history, the most powerful clans wanted to own it.
We'll ride along the Great Glen Moor Valley, the longest valley in Scotland, and see the panoramas once admired and for which the rugged highlanders spilled hot blood.
We'll get to the Glenfinnan viaduct, which you've definitely seen if you've seen the Harry Potter movies. After all, this bridge is the road to Hogwarts.
In the evening we arrive and stay in the lovely town of Fort William, where scenes from The Highlander, Braveheart, and other atmospheric movies were filmed.

Day 7: In the Footsteps of Outlander and Mary Stuart
Location: Port William - Edinburgh
Click to open day description
The stark panoramas of Glencoe Valley can be seen in the backdrop of the Outlander series. In this legendary place, also known as the "Valley of Tears", stood the hut of the half-giant Hagrid, a character from the Harry Potter films. Here we will trek "The Lost Valley" through the magical gorge between the Three Sisters Mountains. We will also repeat James Bond's photo from the movie "Skyfall".
Passing through the mysterious Rannoch Moor.
Take a trip to Stirling Castle, where Mary Stewart spent her childhood. Walk around to see the scenery that the young future Queen of Scots once admired. Among the sumptuous halls with carved furniture, fireplaces and tapestries, Queen Mary of Scots and her courtiers still reside to this day.
After breathing in this beauty, we will drive to Doune Castle, where the first season of Outlander and the pilot episode of Game of Thrones were filmed. You'll even get to take a photo in one of Claire's costumes!
In the evening we will return to Edinburgh.
